Robin Beckhard - Mediator

Robin Beckhard is a mediator, coach and facilitator with over 30 years of experience in the areas of mediation, leadership development, performance improvement, career management, and executive coaching.

As a mediator, Robin draws on the skills of listening, empathy, and creative consensus-building that she has developed in her corporate, board, and personal relationships. As a specialist in learning application, Robin’s focus has always been on the practical: ensuring that coaching clients can use what they've learned when they're back in the "real world."

Robin has been an entrepreneur from the age of 8, when she launched her first business, a day camp for neighborhood kids. (Her dad sold her rain insurance.) In 2020, she launched Cohabitalk®, a coaching service for couples, roommates, and intergenerational families. In collaboration with her husband Bryan, Robin helps clients discuss and negotiate money, space, belongings and behaviors with each other, so they too can live together happily ever after (or at least not kill each other!).

Robin received her B.A. in French from Bryn Mawr College. She lives and works in New York City, where she raised her two children and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. She serves on the Advisory Council of FamilyKind, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children, parents and couples before, during and after separation or divorce, and on the board of The New Amsterdam Singers, with whom she is a frequent soloist.
